Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay: $2,224.80/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role supports a high-volume acute care Med Surg unit serving medical, surgical, and orthopedic patient populations in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The RN will provide comprehensive bedside nursing care, manage diverse patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders.
• Manage heparin drips (only titratable drip used on unit).
• Monitor telemetry and patient status.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy (RT available 24/7).
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Float to PCU or Burn units as needed.
• Support patient safety and quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska RN license (required at submission).
• Required Certification:
  • BLS
• Recent Med Surg experience required.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
