Shift: 5×8 Days (variable start times)
Pay: $3,700.00/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Oxnard, California. This role supports a high-acuity combined Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Neuro unit in an acute care setting.

The Cath Lab Tech will assist with invasive cardiovascular, neurovascular, and interventional radiology procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, support physicians during procedures, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging throughout all cases. This position requires strong technical skills, adaptability, and experience in fast-paced procedural environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac, IR, and neuro interventional procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and angiography imaging equipment.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile fields.
• Monitor patients during procedures and assist with emergency responses.
• Maintain imaging quality and radiation safety standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the charting system.
• Support patient positioning and procedural setup.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active California Radiology License (required at time of submittal).
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • Fluoroscopy (Fluoro)
• Preferred Certification:
  • ACLS
• Experience in cath lab, IR, cardiac, and/or neuro procedural environments.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient safety skills.
• Ability to function in high-acuity procedural settings.
• Must meet physical and clinical demands of the role.
