CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Location: Port Orchard, WA
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Pay: $2,590.20/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a hospital-based Radiology – CT Department in Port Orchard, Washington. This role supports an acute care setting and focuses on high-quality diagnostic imaging services using CT and general X-ray technology.

The CT Tech will perform computed tomography and general radiology imaging, provide excellent patient care, assist with IV starts when needed, and ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation. This position requires strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a clinical environment without in-house radiologist coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general X-ray imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality.
• Provide high-level patient care and customer service.
• Start IVs when required for contrast imaging.
• Maintain imaging equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Document studies accurately in EMR and PACS systems.
• Collaborate with radiology leadership and clinical teams.
• Maintain compliance with department policies and imaging standards.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Imaging License (required at time of submittal).
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ARRT (CT) – Certified CT Technologist
  • ARRT (R) – Certified Radiologic Technologist
• Experience in CT and general X-ray imaging.
• Strong patient care and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Must meet physical and clinical demands of the role.
