Medical-Surgical ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position  
Location: Monterey, CA 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 5x8 Days 
Pay: $2560/week 
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. The OT is a crucial member responsible for planning and implementing individualized treatment programs to maintain or restore physical functioning, with a focus on helping patients achieve independence in activities of daily living (ADLs). This role requires flexibility as the therapist will be required to float between the primary unit and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning.
• Complete and document patient evaluations and tests, developing and updating the patient's Plan of Care (POC).
• Provide treatment aimed at improving patients' functional abilities, fine motor skills, and maximizing independence in ADLs.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all patient care, interventions, and progress.
• Adhere strictly to all clinical protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team (PT, SLP, Nursing) to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:  

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Graduate of an accredited OT program).
• BLS is REQUIRED.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OT experience is highly preferred for travel assignments.
• COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
