CDL A Driver – NYC / NJ / Tri-State Area

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably within the food industry, and must possess a valid CDL A license, clean driving abstract, valid DOT medical card, and be insurable. This role requires consistent, safe, and efficient delivery of goods throughout NYC, New Jersey, and the tri-state area, while maintaining excellent customer service and professional communication.

Compensation

• $25.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• Start Time: 6:00 AM until route completion

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate company vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.

• Load and unload cargo when needed.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

• Ensure deliveries are made accurately, professionally, and on schedule.

• Navigate commercial routes efficiently throughout NYC, NJ, and the tri-state area.

• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory records.

• Report mileage, fuel usage, tolls, and delivery-related expenses.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Keep vehicle and equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.

• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients.

Licensing & Requirements

• Valid CDL A driver’s license.

• Must be bilingual, English and Spanish

• Clean driving record with no major violations.

• Valid DOT Medical Card and insurability required.

• Minimum 3+ years of professional driving experience.

• Physically able to sit for extended periods and assist with loading/unloading.

• Knowledge of commercial driving standards and routing in NY/ NYC & NJ preferred.
