Job Title: RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
Shift: 3×12 Nights
Pay: $2,300.40/week + $2,500 completion bonus per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Kearney, NE. This position offers competitive weekly pay, completion bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The RN will provide intermediate-level care to patients requiring close cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical units.
Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU/Stepdown patients requiring continuous monitoring.
Manage and interpret cardiac and hemodynamic data, including arterial line monitoring.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions using critical thinking and clinical expertise.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state eligibility.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Must be competent in managing and monitoring arterial lines.
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or Stepdown experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
