Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Travel Position
Location: Columbus, OH
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Days
Pay: $2,689.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, OH. The OR RN will provide high-quality perioperative care, assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile field and anticipating procedural needs.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to any changes.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.
