Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Alamogordo, NM. The Tele RN will provide high-quality care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and support in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients on the Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly addressing any abnormalities.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience (travel experience preferred).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
