Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $28.90 - $41.00 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 - $12,000
Shift Differentials:

  • 7am-3pm (Sat & Sun): +$1.25/hr
  • 3pm-11pm (Mon-Thurs): +$2.00/hr
  • 3pm-11pm (Fri-Sun): +$3.00/hr
  • 11pm-7am (Mon-Thurs): +$4.00/hr
  • 11pm-7am (Fri-Sun): +$5.00/hr

Schedule:

  • Day Shift 36 hours/week
  • Evening Shift 32 hours/week
  • Night Shift 32-36 hours/week

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time direct placement roles with our trusted behavioral health partner in Michigan. This organization offers a variety of specialized settings, including youth, high acuity adult, and older adult populations. Responsibilities:

  • Assess care needs, develop and adjust care plans collaboratively

  • Provide/coordinate nursing care alongside physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  • Educate and support patients and their families

  • Document and report accurately per policy

  • Monitor patient safety and report risks to providers

  • Lead and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff

  • Promote a secure, person-centered, and recovery-focused environment

  • Maintain professionalism and uphold the mission and values of the organization

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the State of Michigan

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

  • New grads considered; psych or ED experience preferred

  • Knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory and practice

  • Ability to work in a high-acuity behavioral health environment

  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

  • Physical and emotional stamina to support patient needs

  • Valid Michigan driver's license may be required
