Job Description
A tertiary care hospital with 528 staffed beds is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their MedSurg/Tele Unit. The ideal candidate must be able to handle a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 and have a solid understanding of cardiac monitoring and emergency response protocols.
The nurse will be responsible for performing critical care tasks such as interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team utilization, and IV therapy/Peripheral line care. Additional duties include providing oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management, as well as adhering to isolation precautions as needed.
This is a travel position, so candidates must be located more than 75 miles from the facility. Candidates will be required to float within the hospital as needed.

Required Qualifications
- New York RN License (Required)
- 1 year of MedSurg/Tele experience
- Proficient in EPIC charting system (hard requirement)
- Ability to manage cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmias, and rapid response situations
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and non-invasive airway management
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and standard hospital protocols
