Pay: $ 1,803.60/weekly (plus $2,150 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,450 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team in Springdale, Arkansas for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate has strong behavioral health experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and a commitment to providing safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional nursing care to adult psychiatric patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention skills in managing psychiatric emergencies.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegate care responsibilities appropriately based on team members' skill and experience.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.
  • Participate in continuing education to sustain clinical competency and professional growth.


Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas or compact multistate eligibility.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RN experience.
  • CPI or SAMA certification preferred (can be completed at the facility if not current).
  • Strong communication, assessment, and crisis management skills.
  • Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
