Physical Therapy Assistant (Outpatient)
Location: Lawton, OK
Pay: $24.50 - $27.56/Hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays required

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our client's outpatient team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on care, supporting patients across all age groups - from infants to geriatrics - through personalized therapy programs and treatment plans.

Note: This is a direct placement opportunity. Travelers will not be considered for this role. The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client. Benefits and other employment terms may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities based on their care plan
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations with the therapy team
• Complete daily treatment notes and discharge summaries accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy space and assist with equipment management
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all therapy sessions

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license in Oklahoma or Oklahoma Temporary Permit under direct supervision pending permanent licensure
• BLS certification
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work with patients across the lifespan
