The RN will provide direct patient care, manage complex treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote healing and recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and provide care to orthopedic and trauma patients.
- Administer medications, wound care, and post-operative treatments.
- Assist with mobility, physical therapy coordination, and pain management.
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans, safety, and home care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in NC
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- BLS & ACLS certifications, COVID vaccine, TB test
- Minimum 1 year of orthopedic / trauma experience in a hospital setting
