Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and individualized care to patients across a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care across various medical and surgical cases, including pre- and post-operative care.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure safe and effective patient care while adhering to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active and unrestricted RN license in WV
- 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
- Ortho & PCA pump experience
- EPIC experience required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only)
